Spyware?

This app uses my iPhones cellular connection every time it displays the list of note titles. But I did not configure any cloud service (I use only iTunes File Sharing), and the app does not appear in Settings > Cellular. So how is the app getting access to my iPhones cellular connection? And what is it doing with the connection - is it sending all my notes to Metaclassys server?
